Thank you Zimbabwe!
I WOULD like to express my gratitude to the Zimbabwean cricket team for their great and bold gesture of coming to Pakistan to play matches while the rest of the cricketing world has refused to come here.
Despite their poor performance in the matches played here, they deserve all the applaud and appreciation for their support of Pakistan.
They are the true heroes of cricket today, and I also want to show my appreciation for the great performance of our team after their poor performance recently in Bangladesh and the World Cup.

Sister, my sister!
THIS is with reference to the story “Sister, my sister!” by Tayyab Anwer (YW, May 16, 2015). The story conveyed a very beautiful message that taught a great lesson about love among sisters. Sisters share a relationship which is beyond comparison. They laugh, they fight and they love; and they are the best of friends.
This story clearly shows that no matter how rude they are with each other, they soon forget their differences and they become close again.

PAKISTANI players finally performed well in the matches against Zimbabwe. Congrats to the national team on their victory, that too on our own ground.
The PCB must pay more attention towards young players such as Mukhtar, who proved himself by getting the award of ‘Man of the Series’.

Ways to enjoy your vacation
THIS is with reference to the cover story “Ways to enjoy your vacation” by Ambreen Arshad. (YW, May 23, 2015). It was a good reminder to all of us that we should spend our holidays as we like and here the writer discussed some things that we can do in our holidays.
I would like to add one thing that during the holidays, we should spare some time for studies because not all students are good in their studies so they should spent one or two hours to read books each day.

THIS is regarding the cover story “Ways to enjoy your holidays” by Ambreen Arshad. I agree with the writer that we are in the technological era where we are bound to use various gadgets which has taken our attention away from nature.
Holidays is the best time to give due attention to nature and get close to it. We can start gardening and enjoy the plants grow. This way not only will we get closer to nature but will also develop a sense of responsibility.

Things named after famous people
THIS is regarding the cover article “Things named after famous people” compiled by Ambreen Arshad (YW, May 2, 2015). It was a wonderful compilation as I didn’t know before that so many fossils and animals and organisms were named after famous people. It was a very fascinating read and the information was also unique. Over all the issue was very informative.

At last the toys spoke!
THIS is with reference to the story “At last the spoke!” by Rabia Yousuf (YW, May 9, 2015). I really liked the story because we kids are really careless about our toys. We buy and throw them without considering how hard our parents work to earn money and how easily we discard or throw them away.
If we don’t want them we should give them to those who work for us or the poor so that their children can enjoy playing with the toys too. This way money will not be wasted.

Toys from trash
THIS is with reference to the website review “Toys from trash” by Asif Ali (YW, May 23, 2015). After reading the review I visited the website and found it to be useful. The ideas given on the site and the step-by-step tutorial were also very helpful in making small toys out of junk. Vacation is a good time to enjoy and create new and fun things.
