LAHORE: National champion Aqeel Khan outclassed Shahzad Khan in the final to win the first SNGPL All-Pakistan Tennis Champi­onship at Cosmopolitan Club courts here on Friday.

Aqeel completed the victory in one hour and 32 minutes with the score-line being 6-3, 6-4.

Though Shahzad succeeded in involving Aqeel in long rallies, he failed to win any set.

Cash prizes worth Rs500,000 were distributed among the winners of all age categories.

Around 150 players from across the country took part in five age categories.
