Jami's Moor trailer is bound to leave you on the edge of your seat

All cinema enthusiasts are in for a treat as Jami has unveiled the trailer for his upcoming flick Moor yesterday.

Spanning at a little over two minutes, the trailer delivers promising glimpses of what the director confidently dubbed the "the cure for all hopelessness". The veteran filmmaker had previously revealed that the plot revolves around the railway system in Balochistan, particularly the closure of the Zhob valley railways in 1984 and the lives of the families possibly affected by it.

Moor is a Pashto word which means ‘mother’ so it is likely that Samiya Mumtaz will be playing an absolutely critical character.

With Meesha Shafi's single, Eva serving as background music, not much can be conclusively deduced from the trailer but one thing is for sure; it's going to be an action-packed, bumpy ride while the seemingly disillusioned characters takes us across the picturesque Balochistan terrains.

Moor's cast includes Hameed Sheikh, Samiya Mumtaz, Abdul Qadir, Shabbir Rana, Ayaz Samoo, Soniya Hussain as well as New York-based actor, Shaz Khan, among others. The movie is slated for release on Independence Day, that is 14 August, this year nationwide.
