Bin Roye, which has ruled multiples screens in cinemas and multiplexes all across Pakistan since its release, has set high standards of Pakistani film across the world. Following the Karachi premiere the lead cast and crew of Bin Roye left for the Dubai premiere on July 15 at VOX Cinema in Burjuman where they were warmly greeted by the Indo-Pak audiences, says a press statement.

The day after the houseful premiere in Dubai, the team headed for the London premiere at the Mayfair Hotel on July 16. The movie not only received raving reviews from audiences but all the shows on Eid were pre-booked as well.

London’s premiere was followed by a special screening in New York on July 17 at Regal Cinema E-Walk following which the highly-charged team of Bin Roye reached their final destination for the premiere in Dallas, US, on July 19 at FunAsia Richardson.

The series of worldwide premiere shows not only boosted the advance bookings of the movie but also gave audiences a rare chance to interact with their favourite Pakistani celebrities.

Bin Roye has so far received an overwhelming response from viewers across the globe and has boasted impressive figures at the box office. Running in New Zealand, Fiji island and Singapore this week, the film is holding its cinemas in the UK (No 12 at the box office), US (No 32 at the box office), the UAE, South Africa, France, Denmark, Oman, Bahrain, and Qatar.

Made under the banner of HUM Films and Momina Duraid Films, Bin Roye is the only Pakistani movie to be released in over 10 countries on Eidul Fitr, and scheduled to be released in Australia on Aug 14.

The movie is based on the bestselling socio-romantic novel “Bin Roye Ansoo” by the legendary playwright Farhat Ishtiaq, produced by the bigwig of Pakistani drama industry Momina Duraid and co-directed by Momina Duraid and Shahzad Kashmiri.

Two of the movie’s songs have been directed by Asim Raza and Sarmad Sultan and talented Farhan Alam is the director of photography. With its engaging script, the picture-perfect direction, immaculate production, unforgettable display of acting, soulful melodies, star-studded cast including the likes of Mahira Khan, Humayun Saeed, Armeena Rana Khan, Javed Sheikh, Zeba Bakhtiar, Azra Mansoor and with special appearances of multi-talented Adeel Hussain, Junaid Khan, Faiza Hassan and Shireen Zahid, Bin Roye has set Pakistan film industry on a new course.

Singer and actor Ali Zafar has achieved another milestone in his life. His fan base on social networking website Facebook has crossed the whopping five million mark.

What’s interesting is that Ali’s Facebook fan count is very close the total population of Norway. It’s like Ali’s fan base is a little country in itself.

Ali’s popularity continues to go from strength to strength. He has loyal fans not just in Pakistan or India but all over the world. He is a renowned musician, an actor and a powerhouse performer who attracts crowds in hundreds of thousands at concerts and shows.

And this popularity and rise to fame is translated in his number of fans. And this is only Facebook. Ali has a massive fan following on twitter too.

Ali was last seen in the Bollywood film Kill Dil alongside current heartthrob Ranveer Singh, the very talented Parineeti Chopra and veteran superstar Govinda. He is currently working on his maiden home production titled Deosai, set in the mountains of northern Pakistan, wherein Ali will be donning the producer’s cap but also starring in it as the male lead.

Singer-turned-actor Farhan Saeed and the stunning Urwa Hocane, who have been enjoying the spotlight for their individual endeavors in the recent past, have paired up for an upcoming drama serial Mere Ajnabi which will be aired on July 29 on a private channel.

Directed by talented Ahmed Bhatti and penned by Saima Akram, Mere Ajnabi, seems promising and will surely prove a hit among the audiences.

The chemistry between the two actors has already caught the attention of audiences in the recently-circulated pictures and it will be worth-seeing the two together on a television screen for the very first time.
