Pakistan's slide in international squash rankings continues

KARACHI: Pakistan's freefall in the international squash rankings continued with the game's former masters failing to register a spot in the Professional Squash Association (PSA) top 50 list released on Tuesday.

Pakistan, which ruled the world of squash for over four decades, currently finds in the lower rungs of the rankings with Nasir Iqbal placed at 51.

Danish Atlas Khan (66), his brother Aamir (69) and Farhan Zaman (75) are the other Pakistanis in the international rankings, though they make it on the list of top 100 players.

Egypt's Mohammed El Shorgaby remains the top player in the world rankings dominated by his countrymen. There are currently 14 players from Egypt in the top 50 list.
