Another Attock blast victim dies

RAWALPINDI: After struggling for 12 days in the intensive care unit of the Holy Family Hospital, the driver of late Punjab home minister Shuja Khanzada died on Thursday morning.

With the death of Ghareeb Nawaz, death toll in Attock bombing case rose to 20.

According to hospital sources, Ghareeb Nawaz, 55, was injured in the attack which claimed the lives of 18 people.

Shuja Khanzada’s driver Ghareeb Nawaz was among the injured who were shifted to Rawalpindi hospitals.

The investigation into the attack has not made any head way. Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan told mediapersons that the murder of Shuja Khanzada was a ‘blind case’.

However, investigators have been working on different lines to trace the facilitators or handlers of the bomber.
