Roof collapse kills two of a family near Kasur
KASUR, Oct 15: A man and his infant son were killed while his wife and two other children sustained injuries when the roof of their house collapsed at Gali Amiran Wali, Kot Murad Khan, here on Wednesday.
Akbar Ali alias Bao (35) along with his wife Robina, sons Awais (5), Asim (3) and infant daughter Iqra were asleep when the roof of a room caved in. As a result, Akbar and his son Asim died instantly while his wife and two other children suffered injuries. They were rushed to the local DHQ Hospital where their condition was described as stable.
YOUTH SHOT DEAD: A youth was shot dead on Wednesday by three people over an old enmity at Chak 28, Chhanga Manga.
Police said Saghir Ahmed and Ghulam Abbas had been at daggers drawn for quite some time. Ghulam Abbas was on his way home when Saghir and his accomplices opened fire on him, killing him instantly.
