SHC CJ visits Sanghar court

SANGHAR: Sindh High Court Chief Justice Faisal Arab asked the district judiciary to dispense justice efficiently.

He said decisions of the judiciary not only brought relief to the litigants, but also contributed to justice, peace and order in society.

Addressing the district judiciary and the bar members at the court of the district and sessions judge Sanghar on Saturday, he said the honour that they [the judges] possessed was not merely due to the prestigious office they held, but because of the prestigious work they were required to do.

Being the chief justice his priority was to fill in the vacant posts of the district judiciary in order to boost confidence of the litigants in the judicial system, he said. During March this year, a large number of vacancies in the district judiciary had been filled in through fresh appointments and promotions. The remaining appointments would be made by June 2016, he said.
