21 foreigners held near Turbat

GWADAR: Twenty-one foreigners, among them Iranian and Afghan nationals, were picked up during a raid by security forces near Turbat on Sunday.

A Frontier Corps spokesman said that seven Iranians and 14 Afghans were taken into custody because they had entered Pakistan without legal travelling documents.

A case under the Foreigners Act has been registered against them and they have been handed over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for further interrogation.
