PML-Q divided in Sargodha
SARGODHA, Oct 25: The PML-Q seems to have divided in Sargodha as the rift between the district Nazim and parliamentarians is increasing day by day.
MNA Chaudhry Anwar Ali Cheema said that he had no personal grudge against District Nazim Malik Amjad Ali Noon, but he had some differences on principles.
He said apparently the district Nazim claimed to be a Muslim Leaguer, but he was working for the Jamaat-i-Islami and Peoples Party. He was ready to cooperate with the district Nazim if he worked only for the PML-Q.
He expressed these views in a meeting held here on Friday for re-organizing the party under the chairmanship of Advisor to Chief Minister Khalid Javed.
Most of the PML-Q leaders and workers also levelled serious allegations against the district Nazim and seconded the version of Mr Cheema.
Meanwhile, the district Nazim also levelled allegations against various PML-Q leaders. He said that he was a staunch party worker and would not bow his head before the corrupt elements who had crept into the party.
The district Nazim also exchanged harsh words with former MNA Haji Muhammad Aslam Katchela, alleging that he was involved in the land scam and plundered the hard earned money of the poor people.
Reciprocal allegations levelled by various leaders continued for some time in the meeting. However, normalcy restored on the appeal of MNA Chaudhry Anwar Ali Cheema.
At this point, Chaudhry Muhammad Ali and Mian Manazir Ali Ranjha emphasized that all PML-Q leaders should work honestly, leaving aside previous associations and loyalties.
