“Abdullah was quite a serious boy. He did not express his love for me with his words but would hug me each time he saw me,” Abdullah’s mother recalls.

The young boy, who was admired by all his classmates, wanted to join the army as a doctor and always talked about ‘serving his people.’

A fashion-conscious boy, Abdullah would always give his father advice about his business, something which his mother says used to put a smile on everyone’s face.
