Army Public School attack: Muhammad Ghasaan Khan — Age: 14

Son of Amin Khan and Bibi Ayesha

Siblings: Saima Amin (18), Palwasha Amin (18), Sawera Amin (16), Mohammad Sharim Khan (12)

Known as the young scientist of the school, Ghasaan was a bright student and a position holder in his class. He also took part in extra-curricular activities in his school, whether they involved intellectual challenges or physical activity. He even won 35 certificates and awards partaking in these events.

He was creative and his father, who is a Ph.D. scholar, says that Ghasaan’s writing was impeccable and barely needed any correction. He was also fond of writing poetry and would try his hand in both English and Urdu languages.

Ghasaan’s teachers also recognised how bright he was and called him the teachers’ motivator, saying when he would be in class, teachers would feel motivated to teach as he was a student who was much interested in his studies.

Ghasaan’s father tells that on the day of exam result, the poor guards and gatekeepers would wait for him as he would distribute a special meal among them.
