Hollywood gossip
I LIKE Young World very much as it offers interesting reading material to children, but I would like to request that instead of only two news items in the “Spotlight” section, there should be more news and articles related to showbiz and Hollywood in it. We hardly have quality information through any source so it would be great if YW could bring us more Hollywood news in this section.

What is intelligence?
FIRST of all, I would like to thank Dawn for bringing out Young World — a fantastic magazine with lots of information every week for children.
And this is regarding the article “What is intelligence?” by Sandhya Karamat Barlaas (October 31, 2015). The article gave valuable information on how to become smarter and how to polish our intelligence. It was a fantastic piece and a must-read for all.

Bonsai, the wonderful tiny trees
THIS is with reference to the cover article “Bonsai, the wonderful tiny trees” compiled by Benazir Raz (YW, October 24, 2015). Thanks to this article I came to know for the first time what bonsai is all about.
The pictures and the information in the article all were just amazing. Bonsai trees are uncommon so the details were very helpful in knowing more about this form of plants. However, I wish the writer had given some information on where to get bonsai plants in Karachi.

II
I AM an avid fan of Young World and the recent cover story, “Bonsai, the wonderful tiny tree,” compiled by Benazir Raz was a marvellous article. The shapes and styles of these miniature trees depict the hard work of those who love growing plants.
Bonsai trees are so beautiful that I think most of the readers would love to have one in their homes, however, it is not easy to take care of them as they need regular pruning and cutting. I would like to thank the YW team for bringing out an amazing magazine for children every week.

The world’s first medicinal chocolate!
THIS is regarding the news “The world’s first medicinal chocolate,” that appeared in “The weekly weird” section (YW, October 17, 2015).
Being a chocoholic, I found the news very interesting. I enjoy this section the most as it provides us with the kind of news that we kids like to read about — interesting, unusual and informative. Otherwise we usually get to read only boring political and current affairs news in newspapers.
