Army Public School attack: Shahzeb - Age 12

Son of Nazir Ahmed and Shahnaz

Siblings: Laaraib (9 years), Shawaiz (6 years), Shaheer (1 year)

Like most boys his age, Shahzeb enjoyed playing sports with cricket and football his favourite. He also enjoyed playing computer games and would save from his pocket money to buy CDs of latest games.

Apart from playing sports, Shahzeb in his free time also enjoyed listening to music and reading books. He also kept up with the latest models of cell phones, with his father helping him indulge in this hobby of sorts.

Shahzeb enjoyed Pakistani food more than any other with daal chawal, chicken biryani, chappali kebab and haleem among his favourite dishes. At the same time though, he enjoyed eating chicken nuggets and would ask his mother to fry those every now and then.

Young Shahzeb also performed well when it came to his studies and secured 91% marks in his last exam. He also won several medals in academics and extra-curricular activities.

Remembered by his father as a brave boy, Shahzeb chose the lives of his friends over his own. His classmate Samiullah says Shahzeb saved him and their other friends during the Peshawar massacre, proving he was a devoted friend.
