‘Wrong injection’ claims infant’s life in Kasur

KASUR: An ailing infant died soon after administration of an injection allegedly by a quack at Chunian’s Allahabad area on Sunday.

Sakina Bibi brought her one-year-old son Hussain to Muhammad Arshad, a self-acclaimed health practitioner, on Allahabad Road with symptoms of infection. Arshad administered an injection that proved fatal for the infant.

Arshad told reporters that the child’s mother brought the injection and he only administered it.

Police are looking into the matter.
