Story Times: Documentary Heaven

Everyone has different tastes. Like some people like to read or watch anything related to cartoons, some like showbiz while some are inclined to techy stuff … and there are some who are a bit inquisitive about history or they are interested in reading documentaries.

The website under review today is all about documentaries from various fields of life and they are all free; surely a heaven for curious little minds and the site is Documentary Heaven, at www.documentaryheaven.com.

The site requires no registration at all. The interface is clean and the menu bar is at the top centre. There is the ‘Browse Documentaries’ option and a ‘Documentary List’ that has theme sorted categorically. You can choose from sports and adventure, spiritual, society, science, arts, mystery, nature, music, history, evolution, biographies, business and many any more on the list that seems to be never ending. All categories have hundreds of documentaries in them.

In the ‘Top 100’ section you will find some of the most famous documentaries. One of the good features of the site is the ‘Submit’ option where you can share a documentary of your own. If you have discovered something interesting or educational on the internet and which is not on this site, you can share it in this section. The site claims to review all the submission and get back to the contributor in a couple of days.

Whether you read or watch documentaries for your academic assignments or simply to increase your knowledge, Documentary Heaven is sure to keep you updated with real facts and keep you busy for hours.

The site has educational and historical material, however, it is always good for children to browse under their parents’ supervision.
