Sialkot Medical Complex opens

SIALKOT, Nov 4: Punjab Minister for Industries Muhammad Ajmal Cheema has said that all non-government organizations (NGOs) engaged in public welfare would be encouraged by the government.

He was speaking at the inauguration of Sialkot Medical Complex. The Al-Khidmat Welfare Committee has built the Rs40 million medical complex in collaboration with local businessmen.

The minister urged local experts and philanthropists to come forward and join the government efforts for providing ultra-modern health facilities to the people.

Earlier, District Nazim Mian Naeem Javaid said the medical complex was a beacon of light for those among the affluent who wanted to make life easy for the poor. The project’s executive director, Dr Muhammad Ashraf Arain announced that MRI, CT Scan, dialysis and heart-bypass facilities would be provided at the medical complex.
