Pakistani envoy summoned by Afghan ministry

KABUL: Afghanistan’s foreign ministry summoned on Sunday Pakistan’s ambassador to express “serious concerns” over the kidnapping of an ex- Afghan governor in Islamabad.

Sayed Fazlullah Wahidi was kidnapped on Friday.

The Afghan foreign ministry expressed concern to Ambas­sador Sayed Ibrar Hussain and urged Islamabad to throw all its resources into finding Mr Wahidi, described as one of the “big personalities” of the war-torn country.
