Story time: A man from Mars

Ilay down frightened on my bed; my brain was just focused on what had happened to me the day before. Everyone considered it unbelievable, but it actually did happen with me.

One Tuesday morning, I had woke up late for school. I rushed to the bathroom and quickly got ready, after that I rushed downstairs and had a cup of milk as breakfast. I looked at the clock and exclaimed, “Oh no! It’s 7:45am.”

The school bus arrived daily at 7:30am, which meant I had missed it. I ran to the garage, took out my bicycle and started my journey to the school. The school can be reached through two routes; one was through a proper developed road while the other was through a rough and rugged plain that was a shorter route, so I decided to use the later one.

While I was going amongst the trees, I saw a bright unusual light nearby. I parked my bicycle on the side and peeked through the bushes to look for the source of the unusual bright light.

I was stunned to see an eerie creature there. The creature, or I may say an alien, was looking over its jet kind of thing. It was sea green in colour and the unusual thing about him was that he had four hands and three eyes, which made him look creepy! He was neither a human nor an animal.

My hand and legs started to shake out of fear. So I started moving back but, unfortunately, tripped over a stone and fall on the ground. I quickly got up but found the creature in front of me. My throat went dry, my forehead became covered in sweat, my heartbeat increased and I screamed, “Spare me! I haven’t done anything.”

The creature took hold of my hand in his slimy, slippery hand so that I couldn’t run away. “Leave me! It hurts,” I screamed.

“I have no intention of hurting you! I am Stuart from Mars!” the creature said.

“Mmmmm…. Mars! From space! It means you really are an alien?”

“For you, yes, I am!” it said.

“Why are you here?” I asked.

“I didn’t want to come here. I wanted to visit my friend on Venus, but on the way my space jet faced technical error and I had to land here to check.”

“A friend on Venus? Seems like a science fiction story!” I wondered. As I tried to move away, he took hold of my hand again.

“Spare me! Please!” I requested.

“You could be a threat for me! You are going to tell everyone about me. I need to tie you up,” he said.

“No please! I won’t,” I screamed. But the alien didn’t listen and tied me up to the tree.

After that the alien started repairing the space jet again. I saw laser-like lights come out from his hands to assemble the broken parts of his jet. It looked as if his hands had a strong magnet as the parts would float in air just as he moved his hands. Then he would join them together without any adhesive.

Then he emitted a blue light from his eyes to give it a start like we start the engine and it started… he sat in his tube-like jet and I heard him speaking, however, the language could not be understood as it was none of the earthly languages.

“Hey, you there, please release me!” I requested.

“Your earth mates would release you some day or the other,” he said as he got inside his aircraft. The engine started and with a loud bursting sound it went up and disappeared.

I looked towards the clouds but there was no signs of anything in the sky. I struggled to get my hands out of the rope but was unable to do so. In the meanwhile, a group of people passed that way.

I shouted, “Help me! Please get me out of these ropes.” Thankfully, they untied me and asked why I was lying tied up like that?

“An alien tied me up here,” I told them the whole story. They all thought I was crazy. When I returned to my house and told the story to my parents, they too thought that I had seen a nightmare and the fear still remained in me. But I know I was not dreaming it all — it had happened to me.
