Michael Jackson’s children set to inherit £70m each

Michael Jackson’s children are set to inherit a whopping £70million each, it has been revealed.

The singer’s three kids — Paris, 18 (next month), and sons Michael Jr, 19, and Prince Michael, nicknamed Blanket, 14 — have seen their inheritance increase in value since the troubled star’s death from prescription drugs in 2009.

When they turn 40, they will be handed the hefty sum as instructed in Michael’s will. In addition, they will also receive tens of thousands of pounds worth of jewellery, clothing, artwork and memorabilia.

In the meantime, the trio haven’t exactly been missing out on all the trappings that come with wealth and privilege. They have an army of bodyguards, chauffeurs and maids and regularly stay in £3,000-a-night hotel suites in such glamorous destinations as Hawaii and Las Vegas. They are also given a sizeable weekly allowance, believed to be in the thousands of pounds.

Good news One Direction fans!

The hopefully temporary hiatus of One Direction doesn’t mean for a second that we will be seeing any less of them.

So far, only former bandmate Zayn Malik has released solo material and fans have been worried that Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan would disappear from the music scene.

However, the man who oversees them all has put fears at rest by pretty much guaranteeing that the boys will be working on solo material.

Speaking to E! News, Simon Cowell said: “Yeah, there will be more, I’m absolutely sure of that.”

Cowell went on to praise them, by saying that a break was probably overdue. He explained: “Well, it was always going to come. You can’t work at that level; the way they did. I mean lots of things are going to be announced over the next few months, but they were, are, the nicest people, you know, to work with. Hardworking, appreciate everything, so it won’t be the end.”

Meanwhile, our fingers are crossed for the One Direction lads — we can’t wait!
