Spotlight
This is with reference to the spotlight “Tiger whisperer dead at the Florida Zoo” (YW, May 7). It was really tragic to know that Stacey Konwiser couldn’t sustain the severe bite of the tiger and died afterwards. She was a well-known figure among animal lovers as she tamed the tigers and performed various tasks in their enclosure.
Tigers are wild animals and even if one tames these animals, they still are unpredictable, so I think zoo keepers should always keep in mind that no matter how tame the animals become, they still have wild instincts.

Movies to watch this summer
This is regarding the cover story “Movies to watch this summer” by Talat Naz (YW, May 28). It was an entertaining compilation of interesting movies for kids. Summer vacation is going on and we have ample time, so it was great to know when these interesting movies are releasing.

What’s trending in the world?
This is regarding the website review “What’s trending in the world” by Asif Ali (YW, May 28). The website was fun to visit to know what’s happening and what people are searching on the web across the world. And if someone is interested in any of the topics there, they can go through it for a quick read.
The website was quite informative and I would request the writer to review more websites like this as they give knowledge about what is happening in the world.

Beat the heat
This is regarding the cover story “Beat the heat” by Naveed Fayyaz (YW, May 21). The article was the need of the time. As the temperature is rising each day, heat stroke is a risk. So when going out we should carry water bottles with us to keep ourselves hydrated.
Apart from that, we usually don’t pay heed to our food and it is a fact that what we eat, such as oily or greasy food and hot drinks like tea and coffee, also affects our body temperature. It is much better to drink juices, smoothies and eat lots of fruits to prevent water loss.

Young World
I love reading YW and find it to be loaded with interesting facts, news and stories. However, I really don’t like the ads which take a lot of space and sometimes the whole page!
I would appreciate if YW team decreases the number of advertisements and gives more space to stories because we children love to read more stories.
