Six people killed in Sheikhupura

SHEIKHUPURA, Nov 28: Six people were killed while two sustained injuries in different incidents in the district during the last three days.

Brothers Mushtaq and Mahmood were crushed by a speeding wagon on the GT Road near Ferozewala police station on Thursday.

The family said they were going to meet some relatives when the wagon hit their motorcycle.

Ferozewala police have registered a case against the absconding driver.

Ghafoor was shot dead by Naeem and his accomplices over land dispute in the Nankana Sahib Housing Colony on Friday.

Nankana City police have registered a case without any arrest.

Saima, 7, was crushed by a speeding wagon near Kudlathe Morr on the Faisalabad Road, some six kilometres from here, when she was crossing the road on Thursday.

Bhekhi police have registered a case.

Amjad was killed while his pillion Zafar Iqbal sustained injuries when a fast moving wagon hit them near Kudlathe Morr on Wednesday. They were reportedly going to say Eid prayers.

Bhekhi police are investigating.

Dawood allegedly strangled his sister, Aqsa, 16, in village Dhaur Phahar over suspicion of loose morals.

looted: Motorway police SHO Abid Husain Virk was deprived of Rs35,000 in cash by two highwaymen riding a car near Sheikhupura interchange on Thursday.

He was on patrol duty on his official motorcycle when the incident took place.
