Pakistan lose hockey opener

LAHORE: Pakistan lost their opening match to hosts Germany 2-5 in the 4-Nation U-21 Hockey Tournament in Hanover the other day.

According to the information released by Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), Bilal Qadir and Shan Irshad scored the goals for the tourists. In another match, Belgium defeated the Nether­lands 3-2.
