Lawyers for probe into Quetta carnage
LAHORE: Lawyers have called for the constitution of a committee, consisting of apex court judges, to probe into the suicide blast at Civil Hospital of Quetta that killed 70 people, including lawyers.
At a general house meeting of the Lahore High Court Bar Association on Friday, lawyers’ representatives said the Quetta attack was an attack on whole country in fact. They said militants by targeting soft targets wanted to spread fear in the country.
The speakers added enemies of Pakistan were afraid of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project and were trying to create chaos in Balochistan.
