NAB arrests Karachi Board Chairman in corruption-related cases

KARACHI: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday arrested Karachi Matric Board Chairman Anwar Ahmed Zai for his alleged involvement in corruption-related cases.

Zai was indulged in result manipulation, illegal appointments, and earning illegal assets, NAB sources revealed.

The accused will be presented in court on Friday for a remand in order to conduct further investigation.

NAB had been investigating the board’s records for the last three days.

It confiscated several records and board personnel, the sources added.
