Terminator 2 for re-release in 3-D

Terminator 2: Judgement Day is receiving a theatrical 3-D re-release in 2017.

The news was confirmed on the film’s official Facebook page alongside a new movie poster featuring star Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Originally released in 1991, Terminator 2 directed by James Cameron, was a box-office smash and is considered a sci-fi action classic.

“If you’ve never seen it, this’ll be the version you want to see and remember,” Cameron said in a statement about the 3-D re-release according to Collider.

Who is the next James Bond?

Recently, the actor, Tom Hughes is said to have caught the eye of Barbara Broccoli the producer for the Bond movies when he played an MI5 operative in the BBC Cold War thriller The Game.

A source said, Barbara has told those around her how impressed she was with Tom in The Game. “She thinks he is very talented and has been looking at all his shows to see if he is up for the role.”

The 30-year-old is a Rada graduate and a serious “method actor” who is widely hailed as the acting world’s next big thing. For his most recent role as Prince Albert in Victoria he learned to play a Beethoven piano sonata. Last year, Tom told how he would love to take over from Daniel Craig, 48, when he steps down as Bond.

He said: “If someone sits me down and offers me James Bond one day, it’d be an incredible day. I would strongly consider that. No one’s asked me to play it yet, but I’d love them to ask.” Other actors rumoured to become the next Bond include Aidan Turner, Tom Hiddleston and Idris Elba.
