Anti-India rally held in FR Kohat
KOHAT: A large number of armed tribesmen took out a rally in Frontier Region of Kohat on Tuesday to express solidarity with the Pak Army and burnt an effigy of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for hurling threats at Pakistan.
The rally organised by Qaumi Welfare Trust in Paya Jawaki was participated by the people of Adamkhel, the largest tribe of FR Kohat. Malik Khalil Afridi led the rally, which was also participated by local elders, youth and children.
The tribesmen chanted slogans in support of the Pak Army, saying that India was only hurling threats and could not fight with Pakistan. They declared that in case New Delhi dared imposed war on Pakistan millions of tribesmen would fight alongside their army. The participants demanded of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to extend the tenure of army chief Gen Raheel Sharif.
