KARACHI: Habib Girls School outplayed Mama Parsi School in the final to win the Abdul Sattar Edhi Girls Junior Throwball Tournament here on Saturday at the Generation’s School campus.

City School PAF Chapter finished third after overpowering Generation’s School 2-1 The tournament was organised by Sindh Throwball Association in collaboration with the Generation’s School and Pakistan Women Throwball Association. As many as 32 teams participated in the event.

Maqbool Arain, General SecretaryPTF and Asian Throwball Federation and Principal Generation’s School were both chief guests at the closing ceremony and distributed the trophies among teams and players.

Final - Habib Girls School beat Mama Parsi School 2-1

Semifinals: Habib Girls School beat Generation’s School 2-1; Mama Paris School beat City School PAF Chapter 2-1

Third Position match - City School PAF Chapter beat Generation’s School 2-1

Quarter-finals:

City School PAF Chapter beat Shahwalayat School 2-1

Generation’s School beat PECHS School 2-0

Mama Parsi School beat Aga Khan School Kareemabad 2-0 .

Habib Girls School beat Dups Sea View 2-1.
