KARACHI: Salman Mani beat Noman Sarwar in the second round while Parbat Kumar, Eibad Sarwar and Talha Sohail beat their respective opponenets in the under-17 quarter-finals of the 2nd Abdul majeed Trophy Development Series ranking tennis championship being played at the Union Club here on Wednesday.

Men’s Singles (2nd round): Salman Mani bt Noman Sarwar 6-0,6-0.

U-17 Quarter-finals: Parbat Kumar bt Usama Ahmed 6-1,6-2; Eibad Sarwar bt Hania Naveed (Sindh) 7-6,6-3; Talha Sohail bt Mushab 6-2,6-1.

U-13 Quarter-finals: Ghufran Faiz bt Abdul Ahad 8-0; M Abdulah walkover M Basil.

U-11 (1st round): Andrea Guldi (Italy) bt M Arham Raza 8-0.
