Story Time: Stop playing video games

My friend, Ahmad, had the habit of playing video games. He was the only child of his parents so his parents wanted to fulfill all his demands as they loved him a lot. When he came to know of video games, he demanded it and his parents, without any resistance, bought him different types of video games.

Ahmad got addicted to playing video games and played them for hours each day. Before he had started playing video games, he was social, strong and healthy. However, after playing video games, he became lonely, unhealthy and gloomy. His eyesight became weak.

But still, as he was addicted to playing video games, he did not stop. His parents and friends tried to stop him but he did not listen. He was not able to live without playing video games and was always hooked up to the screen. He stayed in his room, destroying his health, physically and mentally. Each week, he was bound to visit the doctor who was alarmed that his health was becoming worse day by day.

Fortunately, Ahmed realised his mistake and promised to recover. He was the only hope of his parents and he did not wish to hurt them. His parents were delighted at Ahmed’s decision. They no longer feared for his health as he was spending his time exercising rather than playing harmful video games. Ahmed regained his health and friendly nature with time.
