CM leaves for Dubai to meet Zardari

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Saturday flew to Duabi on a day’s visit to meet co-chairman of the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party Asif Ail Zardari.

Officials said it was the chief minister’s third visit to the UAE within a month. This time again the chief minister was not accompanied by any cabinet member or party leader as he left alone with his laptop and briefcase in hand, they added.

The officials said the chief minister would meet Mr Zardari and brief him on his efforts to discuss his homecoming with the people at the helm. For the same purpose, sources said, Mr Zardari would also visit Saudi Arabia next week to seek the regime’s support for his return.
