LAHORE: Following the Supreme Court of Pakistan’s direction to take action against those involved in sale of adulterated milk, the Punjab Food Authority on Thursday sealed two cheese, pasteurised milk and yogurt making factories in Jhelum and Sahiwal.

The PFA teams, according to a spokesman, also imposed fine on as many as 20 hotels and bakeries in Lahore.

A team headed by Director (Operations) Ms Rafia Haider sealed one milk producing factory in Sahiwal for unhygienic conditions. A factory producing cheese, pasteurised milk and yogurt in Dina (Jhelum) was also sealed due to same reasons.
