PML-F not in contact with Zardari, says Pir Pagara

KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League (Functional) chief Pir Sibghatullah Rashdi has said that Muslim League factions could not unite due to lack of cooperation of the Sharif brothers, while the move to form a grand democratic alliance in Sindh could not make any headway because there were too many aspirants for the office of chief minister.

Pir Pagara, who is also spiritual leader of Hur Jamaat, expressed these views in response to questions by the media on Thursday at the Mazari House where he went to offer condolence to PPP leader and former Kashmore nazim Sardar Saleem Jan Mazari on the death of his sister.

In reply to a question, he said he was not in contact with former president Asif Ali Zardari. In reply to another question, he said there was no harm if MQM wanted to go along with his party to get their problems solved.
