Word Search

This is regarding the “Word search” published every week in Young World. It’s getting really boring to see the same format and activity each time you open the magazine.

I would like to request the YW team to publish more word games such as crosswords, acrostics, wonder words, word polygons, etc. I hope my suggestion is looked into.

Young world

YW is a magazine full of fun. I started reading the magazine to improve my English, but after reading it I became a big fan of it. I feel as if it is made for me. Everything in the magazine is so interesting, be it stories, articles, quotes, crafts, quiz or news. It is informative too. I recommend all kids to read it to pass their time and acquire knowledge.

Coffee mug cake

This is regarding cook-it-yourself “Coffee mug cake” by Umamah Shaheen (YW, December 31, 2016). I love coffee so I like everything that has coffee in it, whether pastries, cupcakes or drinks. The coffee mug cake was very yummy and easy to make, and so ideal for times when we have cravings for something sweet.

I request the writer to provide the recipe of coffee ice-cream too.

Wonder crafts

This is with reference to the Wonder Crafts “A New Year card” by Asif Ali (YW, December 24, 2016). I decided to give a New Year card to my friends so when I saw the card-making tips in this section, I was super excited to make it. Though it took a couple of hours to make, the result was awesome.

I thank the writer and the YW for including interesting DIY in the magazine, which I eagerly wait to try out.

The DIY titled as “A New Year card” by Asif Ali was really a fabulous craft and the instructions were written very accurately and clearly. It is my humble request to the Young World team to continue publishing such interesting crafts which can easily be made and also save a lot of money this way.

A bad day

This is regarding the story “A bad day” by Syeda Armeen Nasim (YW, December 24, 2016). I learnt that happiness is the only solution to problems.

It is a fact that problems and obstacles are part of every individual’s life, but it doesn’t mean that we focus only on the problems and stop being happy. Life is like a book, some pages are full of happiness and some have tears, but it all makes up a balanced life.
