GUJRANWALA: Five members of a family were killed and two others sustained serious injuries when the roof of a house collapsed on them in Gondlanwala village early on Monday morning.

Reports said that labourer Taj Din, 40, along with his family members was asleep in the room when the incident happened. Consequently, Taj Din, his daughters Neha, 2, Sehar, 5, and sons Ahad, 10, and Fahad, 7, died on the spot while his wife Uzma and another son injured seriously.

The bodies were handed over to their heirs while the injured were shifted to the DHQ Hospital.
