Pasni jolts
FOLLOWING the quake in Balochistan’s coastal region there was no rescue initiatives either by the district administration or the provincial government.
I request the provincial government and provincial disaster management authority to record the damage and provide immediate relief packages to those affected.

A STRONG 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck the coast of Pakistan early Wednesday. The US Geological Survey said there were no immediate reports of casualties in of Balochistan which covers the quake zone.
The shallow quake struck at 3:3 am (2203 GMT) on Tuesday), with the epicentre 23km southwest of the coastal town of Pasni and in towns and cities near the epicentre, including Gwadar. It made people wake up in panic and rush out of their homes.
In October 2015, a 7.5 magnitude quake in Pakistan and Afghanistan had killed almost 400 people, flattening buildings in the rugged terrain that impeded relief efforts.
Quakes hit this area often, and the authorities must always be ready to help.
