Murree continues to receive snowfall
MURREE: The snow falling continued at the hill station on Friday attracting a good number of tourists, which led to hours’ long gridlock near Lower Topa on Lower Topa-Kohala road.
Due to slippery roads many vehicles ran off the road which also caused traffic jam, putting women and children in trouble.
Provincial Minister for Labour and Manpower Raja Ishfaq Sarwar called the officials of the departments concerned and expressed his displeasure over the problems the locals and tourists faced due to traffic jam.
Assistant Commissioner Murree Arif Awan and Sub-divisional Officer highway Ghulam Rasool reached the spot and streamlined the traffic.
