LAHORE: Former president Asif Ali Zardari arrived here on Saturday in connection with the party’s reorganisation especially in Lahore.

On arrival at the Bilawal House, Bahria Town, he held a meeting with the local PPP leadership.

According to a PPP leader, Zardari will spend a busy day on Sunday, meeting with different party leaders from the province. Last week, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto spent a few days in the city and interviewed candidates for party’s Lahore, Okara, Sahiwal, Pakpattan, Sheikhupura and Nanakana Sahib chapters. However, he did not announce names of the office-bearers.
