Dance, dhol and sweets as PML-N supporters celebrate Supreme Court's verdict

As the ruling PML-N declared the Supreme Court's verdict in the Panamagate case a victory, party supporters waved the party's green flag as they came out on roads across the country to celebrate.

Sweets were distributed as party workers chanted slogans in support of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who, along with members of his family, was being probed by the apex court over allegations of corruption.

While welcoming the court verdict, party workers danced to the drum beats and showered rose-petals on the party leaders leading the groups.

Celebratory rallies were taken out in different cities soon after the verdict was announced. Workers were seen holding posters of the premier and stuffed lions ─ a symbol of the PML-N.

Gatherings of the supporters were held at various points across Lahore Lalak Chowk, Lahore Press Club, Gulshan-e-Ravi, Johar Town and Liberty Chowk. PML-N leaders distributed sweets among the public.
