Girls again come out on top in Sargodha

SARGODHA, July 31: Girl students maintained their superiority in the intermediate annual examinations 2003 conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sargodha.

The University of Sargodha captured two positions while the Punjab College of Information Technology bagged five.

As many as 16,554 candidates took the examination out of which 9,039 were declared successful with a pass percentage of 55.

Ali Azhar Niazi (Roll No 30292) of PAF Public School, Sargodha, captured the first slot by securing 952 marks while Aysha Batool (29001) of Government College for Women, Bhakkar, bagged the second slot by obtaining 944 marks and Fahad Rasheed Ahmed Khan (30292) of PAF Public School, Sargodha, got the third slot by securing 936 marks.

In Pre-Medical (Boys): Muhammad Raziullah Khan (29487) of University of Sargodha stood first with 887 marks, Adeel Haider Tirmizi (29331) of Government College, Bhakkar, stood second with 886 marks while Muhammad Ubaidullah (29490) of University of Sargodha and Hafeezullah (29369) of Government College, Bhakkar, shared the third position with 872 marks.

In Pre-Medical (Girls): Aysha Batool (29001) of Government College for Women, Bhakkar, got the first position with 944 marks, Amara Arooj (29034) of District Public School and Science College, Bhakkar, secured the second position with 898 marks and Saleena Emanuel (29185) of Government College for Women, Farooq Colony, Sargodha, bagged the third position with 894 marks.

In Pre-Engineering (Boys): Ali Azhar Niazi (30292) of PAF Public School, Sargodha, stood first with 952 marks, Fahad Rasheed Ahmed Khan (30294) of the same school stood second and Muhammad Asim Shabbir (30312) of the same school stood third with 927 marks.

In Pre-Engineering (Girls): Tooba Siddique (29914) and Sidra Qamar (29911) of District Public School, Khushab, (Jauharabad) secured the first and the second positions with 879 and 814 marks, respectively. While Sumera Fatima (31895) of Punjab College of information Technology, Sargodha, captured the third position with 809 marks.

In Humanities (Boys): Malik Kashif Mudassar Awan (31895), Muhammad Younus (31924) and Naeemullah (31949) of Punjab College of Information Technology, Sargodha, bagged the first, the second and the third slots with 861, 853 and 839 marks, respectively.

In Humanities (Girls): Sabita Saleem (31066) of Government College for Women, Sargodha, stood first with 885 marks, Rabia Chaudhry (31015) and Warda Nauman Khan (31020) of Punjab College of Information Technology, Sargodha, stood second and third with 843 and 837 marks, respectively.
