Story time: The battle of sciences

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, the battle of science took place in an ancient lab of a school building. Twelve beakers, five flasks, two thermometers and two burettes had been broken and seven crocodile clips had burned and five graph papers had been reduced to ashes in that fight. Smoke was rising from their remains.

Now lend your ears to Biology, who was a witness to all that took place and had injured itself too in the fight. It all started when Biology said, “I am the best! The whole universe relies on me.”

Physics said with an attitude, keeping one hand on its wrist and flipping its hair back with another, “You are just a headache to human beings, my dopamine and serotonin keep humans happy.”

Chemistry replied arrogantly, “You both are nothing without me, I am the king of science.”

Maths also jumped into the battle ground, “Oh really! You have just subtracted all the happiness from people’s life.”

Chemistry became angry and threw hydrochloric acid on it. Physics broke the flasks of Chemistry with its metre rule. In no time, the lab become a combat zone and all the three sciences and Maths pounced on each other to prove their importance forcefully with their mass and energy.

Physics moved towards Maths and tore it’s graph papers into shreds and thrown them into the air with its metre rule. Biology run towards them with bandages and medicines to separate them and give them first aid, but Maths attacked it with its compass and divided the atoms and nuclei of physics and chemistry to make them weak. Physics couldn’t defend itself with its weak nuclear forces and come down leaning against the wall.

Then Chemistry launched a strong reaction and flung the test tube filled hydrochloric acid and calcium sulphate in the air, which burned all the sciences. As if this was not enough, chemistry ignited the fire and bombarded the whole lab with its furious reactions. The temperature of the room became so high that all the thermometers burst and their pieces sprayed in the air.

The furious chemical reaction made all the sciences bounced in the sky and they all fell beside each other on the floor. Smoke was rising from their remains. The grey swirls of smoke went into the nostrils of the fire alarm and it started buzzing in panic. The lab assistant came and was shocked to see the mess. As she cleaned it, she wondering how it all happen?

After a while, a group of students entered the room, wearing white shining immaculate coats. They set the apparatus of all the four fundamental sciences to begin the understanding of the world. The sciences has also learned their lesson, together they can solve the problems of the world and understand the mystery of the universe. Individually they were not enough but together they made the world a great place.
