DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Aug 3: A man was killed and another seriously injured in a grenade attack here on Sunday.

According to a police report, unknown assailants hurled a hand grenade into a house at Usman Ghani Colony near Eidgah Kalan in the wee hours of Sunday. As a result, Inayatullah was killed while Mohammad Zubair was seriously injured. The injured was rushed to the district headquarters teaching hospital where his condition was reported to be precarious.

The police have registered a case under the Explosives Act.—Correspondent
