Turbat heat

RECENTLY, we experienced perhaps the hottest day so far of the summer in the midst of an unscheduled loadshedding that cripled life in Turbat.

The temperature recorded was 54 degrees centigrade, thus breaking all previous records and making it the hottest place in Pakistan.

Turbat is a city without woodlands. We need reforestation to reduce the intensity of heat. According to environmental scientists, the main reasons for the rise of temperature the world over are deforestation and methane gases.
