Gwadar problems

THIS is with reference to your news item “Protest against outages keeps Gwadar shut” (June 7). Gwadar has been suffering from an acute shortage of potable water for over a month, because of lack of rain. Its only dam called Akara has dried up.

The government has spent Rs100 billion on various projects in Gwadar, but its citizens are still without water and power.
