Robbers strike 17 times in Faisalabad
FAISALABAD, Aug 7: Robbers plundered cash and valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees, besides driving away with a motorcycle in 17 strikes here in the last 48 hours.
Most of the incidents took place in broad daylight, but the local police failed to find any clue to the culprits.
Two armed men snatched Rs75,000 in cash and a wristwatch from trader Asghar Ali.
Bandits deprived two women of thousands of rupees in cash and ornaments at Madina Town.
A gang of bandits looted cash and gold from Zulfiqar Ahmad and his wife at Samanabad.
Robbers looted household articles and cash from Tehseen Ahmad’s home at Chak 196-JB.
Armed men looted cash and ornaments from the house of Mazhar Ali a Chak 240, Jaranwala. In another incident, robbers took away cash and gold ornaments from Walayat Ali’s house at Chak 194-RB, Khurrianwala police station precinct.
Vehicle lifters took away a motorcycle (FDP-4670) of a student, Abid Saeed, from Afghanabad.
Burglars took away cash and other valuables from the house of Muhammad Afzal at a village in Chak Jhumra.
A dozen dacoits looted hundreds of thousands of rupees in cash and ornaments from the house of a villager in Chak 58-JB in the limits of Thikriwala police station.
A gang of bandits looted Rs300,000 in cash and ornaments at gunpoint from the female family members of a local trader, Muhammad Saleem, in Kehkishan Colony on Faisalabad-Jaranwala Road.
