Six Afghans sent to Peshawar jail

RAWALPINDI: Six Afghan nationals, who had been languishing in Adiala jail, have been shifted to Peshawar Central Jail from where they would be deported back to their home country.

According to sources, the six Afghans were arrested by Islamabad police under the Foreigners Act.

Awal Gul, 18, Sakhi Murad, 36, Abdul Haq, 18, Aslam Khan, 32, Bismillah, 29, and Bashir Rehman, 20 were shifted to Peshawar on June 24.

Earlier, in May, seven Afghan nationals, who were Adiala jail, were shifted to Central Jail Peshawar. Later they were later deported to Afghanistan.
