PbBC’s strike today in support of Okara bar
OKARA: The Punjab Bar Council (PbBC) has called a strike for showing solidarity with the Okara District Bar Association (DBA) across the province on Friday.
DBA president Syed Zahid Bokhari and lawyer Chaudhry Riazul Haq told a press conference on Thursday they had to call the strike as District and Sessions Court Judge Bedar Bakhat had failed resolve a standoff arising from a brawl between a lawyer and a civil judge.
