LANDI KOTAL: A personnel of army’s bomb disposal squad was killed and another was critically injured when a landmine they were trying to defuse went off in Rajgal area of Tirah valley here on Friday.

Officials said that the BDS members, Yasir and Tabrez, were clearing mines in the area when one of the mines exploded which left both critically injured.

The injured men were rushed to a nearby dispensary established by the security forces to deal with such incidents. Yasir, however, succumbed to his injuries and his body was later shifted to Peshawar.
