PHC transfers 51 judicial officers
PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court on Friday ordered transfers and postings of 51 judicial officers of the district judiciary, including 14 additional district and sessions judges (ADSJs), 10 senior civil judges (SCJs) and 27 civil judges.
According to orders released by the PHC Registrar Mohammad Saleem Khan, ADSJ Mumrez Khan was transferred from Tangi, Charssada, to Kabal, Swat, and ADSJ Altafur Rehman transferred from Wari, Upper Dir, to Mansehra.
Names of other ADSJs with the places of their old and new postings are given as follows; Amjad Zia Siddiqui transferred from Hangu to Shangla; Hayat Gul from Peshawar to DI Khan; Ajmal Khan Wazir from Kabal in Swat to Tangi, Charsadda; Usman Wali from Peshawar to DI Khan; Ajmal Shah on return from training to Hangu; Ali Gohar from Peshawar to Wari; Ms Sumera Wali from Mansehra to Nowshera; Tanveer Iqbal from Shangla to Peshawar; Asad Ali on return from training to Abbottabad; Ishfaq Ali Haider from DI Khan to Peshawar; Ms Aalia Sadia from DI Khan to Peshawar; and Liaquat Ali from DI Khan to Timergara, Lower Dir.
Senior civil judge (SCJ) Syed Ali Raza was transferred from Shangla and posted at Bannu, replacing Sultan Hussain, who has now been posted at Shangla. Another SCJ Iftikhar Shah was transferred from Malakand to Abbottabad Circuit Bench of PHC as additional registrar and SCJ Ajmal Tahir from Battagram to Darul Qaza Mingora Bench as additional registrar.
SCJ Ahmad Ihsanullah Qureshi was transferred to DI Khan bench of PHC as additional registrar, whereas Adil Zeb Khan was also transferred from Tank to Bannu bench of the high court as additional registrar. Four recently promoted SCJs were also transferred and posted at different stations. These judges include Ms Javeria Sartaj from Nowshera to Malakand; Ms Kiran Naz from Lakki Marwat to Battagram; Mudassir Shah from Abbottabad to Tank; and Mohammad Ghayyas from Mardan to DI Khan.
