Banking court

I HAVE observed that banking courts do not provide justice to loanees.

Loanees deposit all dues as per order in the banking court. However, it does not handover the original documents, including no dues certificate/no claim certificate and mortgage deed, to depositors or to the attorney of the defaulters/loan-payer.

The banking court should be bound to the banks of Pakistan. All records should be submitted in the court during the recovery process.

Many loanees have submitted request for extension of time, write-off of mark-up, etc. What action has been taken regarding these as per banking laws?

It should be remembered that all loanees are not educated in Pakistan.

All banking staff of the recovery department show their name, designation and office section. The mark-up/interest of loan is writ-off or waive-off.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan and the Banking Court of Pakistan are requested to handover all original documents to the depositor or attorney of the defaulter/defender of the case.
